What Name has God called you today?

Dear Treasure Friend,
Grace and peace be showered upon you in abundance in Jesus name. I am very sorry to not have been consistent in my weekly publications; it was due to some circumstances beyond my control.
“And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou. Shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name” (Isaiah 62:2).

There are people who, though are saved, don’t have any evidence of salvation in there lives. The blessings of Abraham belong to them legally, but they are not enjoying the blessings. In the book of Genesis, God spoke creation into being, He didn’t make any thing first before giving it a name .He called the sea creatures and the birds of the air into being. He didn’t make Man first before deciding to call him “Man”. Rather he said, “let us make Man”. This is how He changes a Man’s life; by first of all calling him a name, so that the blessings will start working in his life according to that name. Lets take a look at the life of Jacob: “ And He said unto him, what is your name? And he said, Jacob. And He said, your shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince have you power with God and with men and prevailed” (Genesis 32:27-28).

At this time, Jacob was greatly distressed and God visited him in the middle of his distress and ask his name. ‘Jacob’ means deceiver or a cheat and God couldn’t bless him because of his name. Though he had legal rights to Abraham’s blessing because his father Isaac had already conferred them on him, he couldn’t enjoy the vital aspect of those blessings. His name had to be changed first. God changes a man’s life by changing his name, Hallelujah!

What name has God called you today? His says you are “the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus(2 Corinthians 5:21). “ you are more than a conqueror” ( Romans 8:37 ); You are “ the healed of God” ( 1Peter 2:24); “ the bold” (proverbs 28:1); “ the delivered” (Colossians). It’s only through the word of God that you can better acquaint yourself with your new name. Spend time in the word and you will discover your new personality in the name God has giving you. Glory to be God!

“You shall experience a Mighty harvest of financial blessings, they are coming your way, and your capacity to give big is increasing by the power of the Holy Spirit. Honor the Lord with your with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces. Then He will fill your barns with grain and your vats will overflow with the finest wine. Have months of prosperity.”
