Your Heart For God Is Your Access To Plenty

Dear Treasure Friend and Partners,

Grace and peace be multiplied upon you in abundance in Jesus Name. “And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living” (Mark 12:43-44).

Practise giving big as a Christian, because giving is the law to the world of abundance. You must consciously train yourself to give “BIG”. Contrary to what others think, the Lord is very interested in how his children give. As a matter of fact, he was so interested that the scripture says that “Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury…” (Mark 12: 41). The Lord and master of all sat down and observed carefully as the people gave and finally he spoke up when the poor widow gave. If he was interested in how people gave to God back then, He still is today. With the widows example, Jesus was training his disciples to give “big”

Giving “big” is relative to the blessing of God in your life. In essence, the Lord expects you to give according to how He has blessed you. This was what prompted the Lord Jesus to say the widow gave more than the others-from the little she had, she still gave all. If what you give to God doesn’t mean much to you, it wouldn’t mean much to him either. King David said, “…neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing…”( 2 Samuel 24:24) that is because he understood this mystery (Secret).

From today, as God promotes and increases you in your endeavours, be smart enough to give to him at the level of each new blessing. To do contrary would be to short-change yourself. The desire to increase your giving might not all by itself, so you must practise it. Many disciples sold their lands ands properties (possessions) and brought the money to the apostles’ feet, but only Barnabas was mentioned by name (Acts 4:36) because he gave God his best. You must train yourself along this part by continuously (faithfully) increasing your giving. Before long your name will show up several times in the book of Chronicles (God’s book of remembrance).

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Dear PAPA God, I thank you for prospering me and helping me realize the reason for my prosperity is the expansion of your kingdom, I am resolved to give the very best of my substance to the work of the gospel, because everything I have and own belongs to you. As I have received freely from you, so I give freely to your righteous cause, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

We care about you.
